Core is an Idle Shooter Game where you have to survive to a bug attack by shooting on them.

You need a mouse to play.

Upgrade Detail :

  • Fire Rate : how often you shoot projectiles
  • Rotation Speed : How fast your ship is spinning
  • Projectile Damage : damage that each projectile makes
  • Fire Count : The number of projectile fired each time you shoot
  • Projectile Division Count : How many subprojectiles are created when you hit an enemy
  • Projectile Division Lifetime : How much time subprojectiles last
  • Corpse Duration: How much time bug corpse stay on scree, slowing down the other bugs
  • Projectile Speed : How fast projectiles go
  • Projectile Size : How big projectiles are
  • Projectile Dispersion : how random the projectile initial angle is

Enemy Upgrades:

  • Enemy speed : how fast bugs moves into your ship
  • Enemy spawn rate : how often enemies spawn
  • Enemy spawn count : how many enemies spawn each time
  •  Enemy size : how small enemy are
  • Enemy life : how much damage you need to fix them

Known Issues:

  • haven't done a lot of balancing on the upgrades, some are way too cheap/expensive
  • game start to lag if you reach late game

upgraded size and speed a ton and crashed the game

198968 bugs destroyed. I'd have gone further but my computer just couldn't handle the projectiles so enemies started jumping forward quite a bit. Fun though!

Web client lags out very quickly. As you mentioned, balancing issues. Fire Count, Projectile Division Count and Lifetime are way too cheap and as soon as you get them to a certain point you basically earn money faster than you can spend it. Because as soon as you do spend it, you break the game.
